[Hiring] Development Engineer @NAXCON GmbH

Role Description

• Responsible for technical components in the development of eBike drive units.
• Focus on robustness, service life, NVH, and industrialization.
• Supporting components from A-sample to series release.
• Taking care of tolerance calculation, component design, drawing derivation, documentation, and clarification with suppliers.
• Commissioning validation samples and tests, interpreting test results, and deriving improvement measures.
• Consideration of schedule, quality, and cost targets.
• Collaboration in a cross-functional project team.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree (master's/diploma/doctorate) in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering with a focus on product development, design engineering, or a comparable degree program.
• Supplier management with in-depth experience in the development of connectors, plastic components, and die-cast components, as well as the associated manufacturing technologies, such as stamping, drawing, and bending technology, plastic injection molding, die casting, and milling experience with Moldflow and FEM simulations.
• Very good knowledge of the CAD tool ProE/Creo and MS Office.
• Creative, independent, consistent, and structured way of working.
• Willingness to travel occasionally on business trips ~ 1-2 times per year.
• Fluent language skills in German and English (min. B2 level).
