[Hiring] Component Engineer @Our client

Role Description

Our client is seeking a Contractor to perform mechanical piping and pressure vessel component design.

• Perform ASME design specification detailed design requirements and code application basis work, including technical reviews and independent design verification functions.
• Perform critical dimension and functional limit analyses and evaluations.
• Perform subcomponent joint design standards and criteria specification work.
• Perform gaskets and seals selections and specification work.
• Qualification indoctrination to client's quality program to perform preparation or verification activities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ASME BPVC Section III, Division 1, particularly in subsections NB, NG, and NF.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant equivalent program from an accredited university.
• Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience. Experience level may be partially substituted for advanced degree depending on position relevance, PE desired.
• Certifying Engineer, qualified to ASME Sect III, Mandatory Appendix XXIII, for reactor support components (Subsection NF) desired.
• Strong communication skills desired.
• The service provider will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect, and a desire to foster teamwork.
