[Hiring] Commissioning Engineer for MV @Schneider Electric

Role Description

The Commissioning Engineer for Medium Voltage provides professional on-site services for Schneider Electric medium-voltage power distribution solutions, including:

• Commissioning
• Technical diagnostics
• Resolution of customer issues

The role primarily supports complex and critical projects, delivering advanced troubleshooting and on-site expertise for medium-voltage switchgear such as:

• MCset
• PIX
• GHA
• SM-RM-GM AirSeT
• Premset

Qualifications

• Electrotechnical education (University degree is an advantage)
• At least 5 years’ experience with commissioning and/or field service activities
• Confirmed experience with MV power distribution products (Schneider Electric or other brands)
• Knowledge of Protection Relays is a strong advantage
• Fluent communication in English language (B2+ level min)
• Good software tools literacy: MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD, Power system Cx software

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of electrical principles particularly for medium voltage
• Fundamental knowledge of automation and protection relays
• Ability to perform duties with general direction
• Must comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to travel internationally for 70% of the working time (and more)
