[Hiring] Civil Designer @Fyfe

Role Description

The role will be based in the Philippines, working for an Australian company. The successful candidate will be hired by our partner agency in the Philippines.

• Produce civil engineering design and documentation for energy and civil infrastructure projects using 12D and AutoCAD.
• Work with Project Managers to balance design work requirements with project budgets and schedules as established with clients.
• Participate in the delivery of projects and ensure output is of a high standard and within time and cost budget allocations.
• Ensure all design drawings for engineering project work comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Preparation of civil design plans, specifications and estimates for a range of civil design projects.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil discipline.
• Demonstrated experience within a consulting environment.
• Demonstrated high level competency with engineering design software, including AutoCAD and 12D.
• Experience with designing access tracks and cut/fill pads; wind farm design experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of local and statutory requirements, legislation and Australian Standards (preferable).
• Working knowledge of specifications and software applied to civil construction infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise multiple projects.
• Proficient in the operation of MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to show initiative and work to deadlines in a multiproject environment.
• Ability to work independently and engage and collaborate with stakeholders.
