You will align with the Poultry North America Division and report directly to the DSI Application Manager. The average day in the life of a DSI Applications Engineer includes:

• Working directly with customers on site at their food production facility.
• Gathering and prioritizing customer requirements while on site, assessing customer production lines, and providing feedback for process improvement.
• Locating necessary information and resources, exploring options, identifying a solution, and manipulating the portioning system software to meet the customer's needs.
• Measuring data, analyzing trends, and communicating results.
• Coordinating customer visits based on department priorities and strategic programs.

For over 30 years, the DSI brand has been synonymous with leadership and innovation in waterjet portioning of boneless proteins. DSI systems are continually refined to provide food processors with ever-improving automated solutions for portioning, trimming, and sorting.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Food Science, Poultry Science, or Meat Science.
• 1+ years of experience with technical concepts involving computers, software, and robotics principles.
• The ability to creatively translate customer requirements into practical applications.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Requirements

• The estimated annual salary range for this role is $75,000-$90,000 annually. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
• This position is fully remote, and we ask that you travel approximately 90% of the time.
