Role Description
As a seminar and workshop facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering in-person and virtual training sessions to TELUS Health corporate clients. You will also actively manage the learning environment and share your subject matter expertise and experience with client participants.

Topics include change management, stress management, resiliency, respect, professionalism, and difficult behaviors (material is already prepared).

Seminars:
-
Duration: 30, 60, and 90 minutes.
-
Focused learning, designed for concentrated skill-building with no pre-work.
-
Participants leave with practical tools and strategies they can implement right away.
-
Workshops:
-
Duration: One hour or longer.
-
Interactive, learning beyond theory, emphasizing practical application in both work and personal life.

Expert-led session with problem-solving, analysis, and peer learning skill-building sessions with hands-on activities.
-
Half-day and full-day programs, most often focused on changing workplace behavior.
-
These workshops will provide strategies and tools that participants can instantly integrate into their lives.
Qualifications

You hold a postgraduate degree in adult education, psychology, industrial relations, organizational behavior, or human resource management or equivalent experience.

You have a minimum of 5 years experience in delivering instructor-led training in an applied workplace setting.

You have practical experience delivering skill-based training to adult learners in a variety of workplace settings.

You demonstrate superior communication, presentation, and group facilitation skills.

You have the ability to adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate individual and group differences, as well as special needs.
Requirements

Proven experience in employer education on topics of leadership and development, mental health, financial wellbeing, and/or diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Expertise in the following areas:

Professional wellbeing (e.g. Effective communication, Respect in the workplace, Change Management, etc.)

Personal wellbeing (e.g. Burnout, Resilience, Transition to Retirement)

Mental wellbeing (e.g. Anxiety, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention, Grief, Media Influence, Relaxation Techniques, Vicarious trauma)

Physical wellbeing (e.g. Substance Use, healthy eating, Exercise, Sleep Hygiene, Menβs Health, Womenβs Health)

Parental and caregiver wellbeing

Relationship wellbeing (e.g. Digital balance, healthy relationships)

Financial literacy
-
Diversity, equity and Inclusion (DEI) (e.g. Neurodiversity, Unconscious bias, Cross-cultural communication, Understanding microaggression)

Leadership (e.g. Multi-generation team, Conflict resolution, Crisis management, Emotional intelligence, Mental Health, Resilience, Change Management, AI)

Affiliate (contract) facilitators will represent the TELUS Health brand and deliver dynamic and psychologically safe education experiences for both virtual and in-person instructional-led deliveries.

Clients range from small businesses and government agencies to large multinational clients.

Deliveries of pre-packaged content will vary from one-hour awareness seminar deliveries to multi-day blended learning programs.

Occasionally, facilitators may be asked to support development, design, and testing of educational products.
