Role Description

Provide meaningful, individualized occupational therapy services remotely for students - helping them build the functional, academic, sensory, and life skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. As a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Design and implement treatment plans
• Conduct evaluations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Guide therapy services across educational settings

This role blends clinical expertise with collaboration, creativity, and a strong commitment to student growth and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings supporting children with learning, developmental, sensory, or social-emotional needs (preferred)
• Strong understanding of IEP development, special education processes, and intervention planning (preferred)
• Experience with sensory integration, fine motor development, and adaptive strategies (preferred)
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills (preferred)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams (preferred)
• Ability to work in a mission-driven, student-centered environment (preferred)

Requirements

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEPs and clinical needs
• Provide direct OT services to students across school-based settings
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and related service providers to support student goals and accommodations
• Develop, update, and monitor IEP goals, including participation in annual and triennial reviews
• Complete data collection, progress monitoring, and clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Recommend adaptive strategies, environmental modifications, and assistive equipment as needed
• Provide consultation, training, and guidance to school staff and COTAs when applicable
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district regulations related to occupational therapy services
