Role Description
Uplift Learning Solutions is seeking dynamic, certified Virtual Fitness Instructors to deliver engaging, live, interactive group fitness classes to participants in a healthcare setting across the Delaware and Pennsylvania regions.

Tasks:
The primary focus of this role is delivering safe, effective, and inclusive Fitness & Resistance Training. Instructors proficient in complementary wellness modalities (such as Yoga, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Pilates, HIIT, or Mindfulness/Breathwork) are strongly preferred.

Virtual Instruction:
Lead live, interactive, two-way video classes ranging from standard high/low intensity fitness to functional movement and strength.

Diverse Population Adaptation:
Modify exercises dynamically to accommodate varying physical abilities, mobility limitations, and fitness levels (including older adults and individuals with physical or sensory considerations).

Safety & Environment Monitoring:
Maintain active visual monitoring of participant safety via two-way video stream, adhering strictly to established safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Administrative & Charting Duties:
Accurately complete class attendance tracking, performance charting, and session logs in accordance with program metrics.

Team Participation:
Attend mandatory ongoing administrative meetings, quality assurance reviews, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications

Active nationally accredited Group Fitness Instructor certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA, ACSM) or equivalent.

Minimum of 2+ years of experience teaching fitness to diverse populations (e.g., healthcare setting participants, seniors, clinical populations, or varied ability levels).

Ability and willingness to commit to teaching a minimum of 5 live classes per week across flexible scheduling windows (mornings, evenings, or weekends) on an as-needed basis.

Successful completion of a comprehensive background check prior to official hire and onboarding.

Access to high-speed, reliable internet capable of supporting continuous, high-definition two-way video streaming without lag.

Proficiency in operating major video conferencing systems and virtual delivery tools.

A dedicated, clean, professional, and quiet home teaching area free from background noise or domestic distractions.

A camera setup providing full-length body visibility (head-to-toe) while standing, moving, and demonstrating floor exercises.
Requirements

Multi-modal certifications or experience teaching secondary modalities, including:

Yoga: Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, iRest Yoga Nidra, or Yoga Therapy.

Mind-Body: Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Pilates, or Barre.

Specialty: High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Pre/Post-Natal, or back/neck care.

Prior experience delivering virtual wellness programming within a healthcare or clinical setting.

Formal training in trauma-sensitive or trauma-informed instruction.
