Role Description
We are seeking suitably qualified candidates for a Type Rating Instructor (TRI) position within our Training Department, including the potential upgrade of internal Flight Crew. This role is integral to the development and continuous improvement of our pilot workforce, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence are consistently achieved.
The TRI will be responsible for delivering both ground-based and flight training to pilots undergoing type rating and recurrent training, while fostering a strong culture of learning and professionalism.

Deliver type rating training across classroom, simulator, and in-flight environments.

Assess pilot performance and provide structured, constructive feedback to support continuous development.

Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.

Maintain current knowledge of aircraft systems, regulatory requirements, and training best practices.

Collaborate with the Training Department to develop, review, and enhance training materials and programmes.

Mentor and support pilots throughout their training journey, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Qualifications

Minimum 1,500 hours total flight time on multi-pilot aeroplanes.

At least 30 route sectors operated as Captain or First Officer within the past 12 months.

Valid EASA ATPL with A320 Type Rating.

Hold an EASA TRI rating, or will be provided by the Company on the applicable aircraft type.
Requirements

Good understanding of EASA Aviation Regulations.

Previous experience as a Line Training Captain (LTC) or equivalent instructional experience will be advantageous.
