Role Description
The Training Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of training programs for stakeholders. This role partners closely with various departments to identify performance gaps, deliver engaging learning experiences, and ensure training aligns with organizational standards. The ideal candidate is a dynamic facilitator who can pivot between in-person, virtual, and one-on-one sessions. This role is remote with occasional domestic travel (up to 40%).
Preferred location:
Colorado Springs, CO or Dearborn, MI to support onsite training.
What you'll do...

Training Delivery & Facilitation:
Facilitate high-energy training sessions across various methods, including in-person workshops, virtual webinars (via Microsoft Teams), and side-by-side coaching.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with individual departments and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to determine training priorities and develop plans that address critical job functions.

Content Stewardship:
Review and update company training materials to ensure they accurately reflect current processes, procedures, and business models.

Logistics Management:
Coordinate all training logistics, including room bookings, IT requirements, and facility arrangements for instructor-led training (ILT).

Evaluation & Reporting:
Administer course evaluations, synthesize performance data, and generate reports to measure program effectiveness.

Continuous Improvement:
Perform training observations to evaluate delivery techniques and work with Instructional Designers (ISD) to enhance learning solutions based on learner feedback and observations.

Compliance & Quality Control:
Adhere to the L&D strategy, ensuring all course content is approved by the Design and Legal teams for consistency and quality.

Training Design & Development:
Design training materials and training-related documents as needed. Take ownership of company training material to identify if it accurately reflects current processes, procedures, systems, and business models.

LMS & LXP Administration:
Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and Learning Experience Platform (LXP) lifecycle by creating offerings, loading activities, and granting learner credits within platforms such as HCM Oracle and Degreed.

Professional Development:
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and expand personal capability to meet evolving organizational needs.
Qualifications

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences, including employees, stakeholders, and dealers.

Advanced skills in communication and training delivery software (e.g., PowerPoint, Teams, and Slido). Intermediate skills in development software (e.g., Arist, Articulate, and Adobe Suite) a plus.

Proven ability to remain composed and "regroup" during unexpected technical issues or shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to interpret data from evaluations to identify opportunities for material or delivery enhancements.

Familiarity with Agile methodology and Six Sigma is preferred.

Ability to work flexible hours and travel domestically to deliver on-site training as required.
