[Hiring] Technology Externship Program Manager @JerseySTEM, Inc.

Role Description

This is a pro-bono position. JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls. This role will manage the JerseySTEM 14 week Externship program where Interns (undergraduate Students) shadow JerseySTEM technology leaders and participate in projects. The Externship program manager coordinates the recruitment of the interns, their onboarding and ensures they have a positive experience at JerseySTEM.

• Interview with incoming interns
• Help assigning them to projects by working with the host teams
• Organize virtual learning and social events for the college students
• Engage with the Students University Advisors

Qualifications

• Familiarity with early career members
• Ability to work with little direction
• Meticulously follow up with internal and external stakeholders
