Role Description

Our Product & Technical Learning team's goal is to provide best-in-class, Akamai product-focused learning solutions for employees, customers, and channel partners. We work cross-functionally to produce innovative materials using a variety of modalities and learning methods.

As a Technical Enablement Architect, you will analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training content on Akamai products and solutions. Collaborating with internal subject matter expert teams, you will create engaging, high quality product knowledge (e-learning, labs, demos, instructor-led training, and more). By elevating our training offerings, we will enable our Employees, Customers, and Channel Partners to sell, use, and service Akamai for their cloud strategies.

As a Technical Enablement Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with members of the aligned Enablement team to determine training needs, and proposed solutions.
• Designing and developing learning content using instructional design strategies in a variety of modalities (including eLearning).
• Collaborating in our Product Communities and SME program.
• Integrating learning activities and strategies that will engage and motivate the learner to further develop knowledge and skills.
• Developing course content from scratch as well as updating and improving current courseware, hands-on labs, and exams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in training content development and/or instructional design, applying adult learning principles.
• Maturity applying learning methodologies and strategies, especially around storytelling, micro-learning, and simulations.
• Working knowledge of e-learning authoring tools for different learning modalities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and business audiences.
