Role Description

Position is for the 2026-2027 school year.

• Position: Teacher, 3rd Grade
• Location: 7480 Broadway, Denver, CO 80221 - Global Primary Academy
• Pay Range: Licensed Salary Schedule, $60,004 - $124,634 Annual Salary
• Calendar: 190 Days
• Reports to: School Director/Principal

Global Primary Academy is a PK-3 Internationally focused school that is a part of the Global Schools on the Broadway Campus. This small school gives teachers the time, space, and support to dive into content standards and focus on PK-3 academic success, with a heavy focus on early literacy. A student's ownership of learning begins on day one, with opportunities to connect their learning to their community and world. The building was designed to bridge the comforts of home with the wonders of nature, to help our students become brave and curious learners.

Qualifications

• Colorado teaching license with an appropriate elementary endorsement required.
• Additional endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education preferred, or willingness to pursue endorsement or equivalent coursework.
• K-3 teachers must provide documentation of evidence-based literacy training, Read Act Designation, per CDE requirements.

Requirements

• Commitment to raising achievement among all students including high-need students, students with disabilities, and those performing below grade level.
• Develop lesson plans ensuring instruction is paced well, encourages critical thinking, engages all students in authentic and productive learning, and ensures smooth classroom management.
• Provide students with skills necessary to meet or exceed the Grade Level Expectations of the Colorado Academic Standards with defined sequential outcomes, authentic and engaging work, and modeled assessment expectations.
• Clearly communicate student progress and achievements throughout coursework with students and parents.
• Maintain professional communications and interactions with students, parent community, and staff.
• Willingness and ability to collaborate with colleagues across content areas, including participating in planning meetings to develop integrated instruction and improve teaching practices.
• Attend and take full advantage of the professional development offered.
• Willing to undergo training in the International Baccalaureate Model.
• Model, instill, and actively participate in building a supportive and positive culture through GPA's learner profiles.
• Perseverance in the face of challenges.
• Work with a growth mindset.
• All other duties as assigned.
