Role Description

The California Virtual Academies (a network of 9 public charter schools) delivers online/virtual home-based instruction to students in grades TK-12 in California. The Student Success Coordinator leads CAVA's 504 and Child Find processes. Working closely with families, teachers, school psychologists, and school leaders, the Coordinator ensures students who may need additional support are identified early, connected to the right pathway, and served in compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Permanent California Residence (Must currently reside in 1 of the 42 counties we service students and hire in)
• Valid/current Preliminary/Clear/Life California Multiple or Single Subject Teaching Credential
• California English Learner Authorization - Issued by CTC

Requirements

• Full-time teachers work Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm.
• You are not allowed to have another job during these contracted hours.
• Annual salary based on holding a Bachelor's or Master's Degree and up to 3 years of experience in California.
• Only full-time employees are offered health, dental, and vision benefits.

• We do provide training for all programs and we have a great staff to serve as your support system.
• We do not accept temporary county certificates, out-of-state, intern, expired, emergency, short-term staff permits, or credentials in the process of being obtained.
