    • Ensure assessments accurately measure intended knowledge and skills without introducing unnecessary barriers (e.g., excessive reading complexity).
    • Design student activities that promote engagement, inquiry, and application of social studies concepts.

  • Strong attention to detail in content accuracy, alignment, and instructional coherence.
  • Ability to identify quality issues and provide clear, actionable feedback.
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly for student-facing content.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.

Requirements

  • Compensation at Pearson is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, and location.
  • The hourly rate for this role is $60,000 – $68,000.
  • This position is not bonus eligible.
  • Applications will be accepted through July 30, 2026. This window may be extended depending on business needs.
