[Hiring] Senior Training Specialist @Samsara

Role Description

Do you want to join a dynamic, creative team? Samsara's Customer & Partner Education team is looking for a trainer to help us scale our reach and customer support globally. As a Sr. Technical Trainer focused primarily on our Scale segment (i.e. Commercial and Mid-market accounts), you'll help thousands of customers derive immediate value from our connected operations platform. Across one:many digital programs, live webinars, and cohort-based training sessions, you'll guide customers through structured learning journeys, make complex platform concepts accessible and actionable, and ensure success at every stage of their journey — across transportation, construction, field services, and the many other industries Samsara serves.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except Alaska, Austin Metro, Boulder Metro, California, Chicago Metro, Connecticut, Dallas Metro, Denver Metro, Houston Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Seattle Metro, and Washington, D.C.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated experience delivering at-scale programs and live webinars or vILT to external audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build digital learning assets when needed.
• A working grasp of instructional design.
• Self-directed and analytical.
• Ability to analyze engagement and impact data.
• Strong prioritization skills.
• An eye for detail and polish in everything you produce.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• 3–4 years of experience teaching or delivering training, with at least 1 year in a one-to-many or scaled delivery model.

Requirements

• Build, deliver and facilitate cohort-based one:many programs for customers.
• Design new, innovative experiences tying together physical and digital assets.
• Produce new and leverage existing training materials in accordance with team standards.
• Proactively leverage in-house and external tools and platforms to optimize training.
• Demonstrate expertise across the Samsara platform.
• Manage all live session logistics.
• Collaborate closely with the CS Scale and the rest of the Education team.
• Identify common knowledge gaps across the Scale customer base.
• Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles.
