Role Description
The Professional Education Manager position will be a key position to support the Canadian business and help establish real-time CGM as standard of care in Canada. The person will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of all unaccredited educational initiatives as well as advisory activities with Canadian healthcare professionals (HCPs) involved in diabetes management (Primary Care, Specialty, Pharmacy).
The position is a highly collaborative role across the HCP Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Clinical, Medical Affairs, and Sales Teams and will report into the North America marketing team.

Lead the strategy, planning, development, and execution of all unaccredited educational initiatives for Canadian HCPs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and market opportunities.

Oversee national educational programs including:

KOL speaker presentations
-
Advanced webinars on various diabetes topics related to CGM

Content creation for in-person and virtual educational events/workshops
-
Presentations at HCP, Pharmacy, and Payor conferences
-
Educational Podcasts related to diabetes

Serve as the strategic lead for speaker bureau management, including speaker liaison and management to ensure optimal selection, preparation, and effectiveness of educational programs.

Lead the planning, development, and execution of advisory boards and insight-generation activities with HCPs aligned to organizational goals.

Advise on the development of marketing materials with clinician points of view as needed.

Engage in scientific, medical evidence discussions about current products with healthcare decision-makers and KOLs.

Manage stakeholder relations with key Canadian societies and organizations that support the progress of rtCGM becoming standard of care.

Keep up-to-date on new and emerging clinical evidence with the use of rtCGM across the category.
Qualifications

Track record of project management skills and expertise across medium to large-scale projects.

Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment with the need to manage constant change and prioritize projects and deliverables.

Ability to deal with ambiguity - ready to change gears and plans quickly.

Strong communication skills (oral/written) including strong presentation skills.

Highly collaborative and desire to reach across the organization to understand needs.

Ability to understand the needs of the business and how educational initiatives can be applied to meet goals and objectives.

Strong understanding of diabetes across the lifespan and category of CGM.

Attention to detail for accuracy of medical and scientific content.
Requirements

Advanced knowledge of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes across the care continuum.

Experience supporting medical devices or digital health products.

Experience leading KOL engagement.

Fluency in both English and French preferred.

Experience and Education Requirements
-
Typically requires a Bachelorβs degree and a minimum of 8 β 12 years of related experience.

A graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.
Remote Workplace

Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).

Salary
$121,100.00 - $201,800.00
