Role Description

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Sr. Coordinator, Training and Development to join our team!

The Sr. Coordinator, Training and Development brings pharmacy operations knowledge, exceptional service, and engagement through developing, enhancing, and administering specialty pharmacy specific onboarding and refresher training. This role develops and facilitates training through multiple channels and demonstrates culture and competencies for trainees so they in turn become strong performers within the Lumicera pharmacy operations team and organization. The Sr. Coordinator, Training and Development is adept at identifying training needs, creating interactive training, facilitating topics, evaluating effectiveness and retention of material, and constantly enhancing the training program in accordance with pharmacy regulations and accreditation requirements. The Sr. Coordinator, Training and Development will work collaboratively with both operations and quality staff to continue to deploy enhancements and regulatory requirements to the training plan. This position will also manage the paperwork and verification of training requirements and completion.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, develop, and facilitate specialty pharmacy specific onboarding and refresher training through various delivery channels to develop successful staff members who will deliver higher-than-average service expectations.
• Ensure resources are utilized efficiently including RxVector, Lighthouse, NaviClaim, Compass, phone technology and others.
• Review, survey and evaluate trainees and overall team on knowledge retention, gaps, and enhancements; incorporate and implement feedback into training program and Trainer’s personal growth.
• Accountable for quality metrics and quality monitoring of trainees for up to one year after training and driver of new operations employee success rate (reduce turnover).
• Active learning in adult learning principles and training technologies.
• Work cooperatively with Navitus/Lumicera corporate Learning Services to eliminate duplication of efforts, leverage resources, and update PALS as the LMS of record.
• Flexibility to accommodate needs of a department with multiple locations. Position may include travel to other Lumicera/Navitus locations.
• Assist in establishing mentoring and conducting peer-to-peer quality review and auditing.
• Ensure training programs meet compliance with accreditation requirements, pharmacy policies and procedures, and Federal and State regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree required.
• 2-years’ experience within Lumicera operations, previous job experience as a successful customer care specialist or other experience in a quality-oriented position preferred.
• Experience in hands-on training, course development and delivery, adult learning and evaluation methodologies preferred.
• Intermediate to expert knowledge of MS Office Suite required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
