Role Description

The Senior Charter School Specialist will provide strategic leadership and accountability for the academic, operational, financial, and governance performance of the Commission's charter school portfolio. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment of accountability processes across the Commission.
• Developing and executing the Commission's training catalogue including but not limited to:
  • Application training
  • Board governance training
  • Commission 101 for new school leaders
• Overseeing school communication and performance reporting.
• Managing other sensitive projects as needed.

Qualifications

• A master's degree from an accredited college in a field related to the position, such as business, political science, public administration, education, research or law and three (3) years successful work experience.
• OR a bachelor's degree from an accredited college and five (5) years successful work experience.
• OR nine (9) years of successful work experience.
• Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
