Role Description
The Senior Coordinator of National Operations at Chamberlain University plays a crucial role in managing business process improvements, operational logistics and coordination, and providing comprehensive operational and administrative support across the university. This position facilitates seamless communication to a wide range of internal and external contacts, actively anticipates and resolves operational problems for improved efficiency and completes quality evaluations for all programs to assist in mitigating risk. Collaboratively works with leadership in all functional units for growth and transformation of the university, including the establishment of new locations and the relocation of existing ones. As a key member of the National Academic Operations team, the Senior Coordinator is instrumental in driving the successful execution of the university's strategic initiatives.

Coordinates and maintains exams and related processes in all required systems including scheduling, accommodations, announcements, incident reporting, etc.

Supports student technical or other issues during exams and coordinates with other departments as needed.

Coordinates, and has direct responsibility for and oversight of a project or specific set of operational activities, for the department and/or University programs and locations.

Actively seeks process improvements that result in greater efficiency, productivity, or applicant/student satisfaction for more scalable operations.

Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships serving as the liaison to vendors and internal supply chain management/contracts team members.

Partners and collaborates with program/location leadership to provide comprehensive support for and to address academic and/or operational needs.

Coordinates and supports capital authorization expenditures for the University procuring equipment, supplies, and resources to support colleagues and students across the University.

Prepares, maintains, and reviews complex documents (such as presentation preparation and facilitation, reports, financial/budget, invoices, purchase orders, meeting minutes, recordings, calendar management for department/processes, etc.) to assure compliance with university requirements and/or government regulations, and notifies supervisor of unusual situations.

Serves as the principal source of information on established policies/procedures through the creation, collaboration, development and maintenance of policies, standard operating procedures, job aids, and supporting resources for the department and the University Policy Central.

Tracks and completes work on time with accuracy, quality control and provides assurances to identify and develop resources to enhance workflow efficiency.

Maximize productivity using various software applications and identifying new sources of technology for operational improvements.

Build sustainable relationships and trust with internal and external customers through open and interactive communication while using discretion when managing difficult situations and notifies supervisor of any escalated situations.

Qualifications

High School Diploma Required and Bachelor's Degree in Operations, business, organizational management, project management or other related field. Preferred.

3+ years previous experience in office management with preferred experience in operations or project management. Preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.

Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks.

Experience or exposure to Customer Relationship Management System (Salesforce), Assessment software systems (ATI, ProctorU, Examity/ExamSoft), and Learning Management Systems (Canvas, Brightspace, etc.).

Must be able to occasionally lift and carry or otherwise move 25 pounds.

Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $18.7 and $33.84. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
