Role Description

The Seasonal Application Assistant is responsible for prepping, reviewing, and evaluating applications for undergraduate and transfer admission based on established guidelines for domestic and international students.

• Assist the admission office in the assessment of secondary school curricula (domestic and international).
• Evaluate academic performance, standardized testing, essays, letters of recommendation, and other applicant submissions.
• Prepare applications for review by the admission office.
• Occasionally review files and make preliminary admission recommendations.
• Training and feedback is offered on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Possess strong attention to detail.
• Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
• Ability to read efficiently and objectively while maintaining thorough documentation.
• Ability to meet determined deadlines.
• Possess strong technology skills.
• Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
• Preferably have prior experience in admissions or college counseling.
• Preferably experience in Slate CRM.

Requirements

• The time commitment for this position is between 25-30 hours per week.
• Position begins in October 2026 and concludes in March 2027.
• This is a remote position with the option to train in person.

Benefits

• Pay Structure: Grade 3 ($17.61 to $21.13 per hour).
