Qualifications

Bachelorโs degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.

Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of science courses (Earth, Physical, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Space, Anatomy & Physiology, Marine Biology, & Zoology), following content standards โ curriculum and resources provided.

Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.

Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.

Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.

Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Experience teaching Advanced Placement Science courses with demonstrated student success on the College Board AP Exam (AP Biology, AP Environmental, AP Chemistry, AP Physics 1) highly preferred.
Requirements

Maintain a minimum of 24 hours of availability per week paired across Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday.

Friday hours are also encouraged.

Current needs are early morning, daytime, and evening availability.

Pay Range
