Role Description

Keltia is looking to hire a part-time Remote Instructor for Revit - Architectural & Civil Engineering Training. The ideal candidate will have working experience in a field using Revit. The training is typically conducted with an industry-experienced design/engineer and tailored to the specific needs of the student; this can be done from home on their own computer.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years' work experience in design and/or engineering, directly involved with the application of CAD tools to create 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Professional experience with REVIT.
• Understanding of and commitment to teaching, mission, and philosophy.
• Innovative, flexible, and positive teaching style with an understanding of the needs of students from diverse backgrounds.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Technology Skills:
  • Ability to integrate computer applications into teaching.
• Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional program.
  • Ability to plan and implement lessons based on division and objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with students, peers, staff, and administrators.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
