  • Practical understanding of in-court and out-of-court restructuring processes, capital structure solutions, liability management transactions, debtor-in-possession financing, and exit financing
  • Ability to evaluate debt terms, covenant provisions, collateral, guarantees, seniority, and structural subordination and explain their implications for stakeholders and recoveries
  • Ability to assess downside risk, identify catalysts, develop investment theses, and evaluate potential returns across restructuring scenarios
  • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging learning experiences
  • Ability to draw on transaction or investment experience to develop realistic case studies and explain stakeholder incentives, negotiation dynamics, and execution considerations
  • Strong judgment regarding confidentiality, material nonpublic information, and the appropriate use of transaction and investment examples in a classroom setting
