Chamberlain University College of Nursing is seeking Online Faculty (part-time) for our Master of Science in Nursing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (MSN PMHNP) Program. NR547 - Differential Diagnosis in Psychiatric-Mental Health Across the Lifespan Practicum: Provides fundamental knowledge for formulating differential diagnoses in psychiatric mental health settings.

NR548 - Psychiatric Assessment for Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner: Expands knowledge and skills for thorough psychiatric mental health assessments.

NR605 - Diagnosis & Management in Psychiatric-Mental Health across the Lifespan I Practicum: Incorporates psychosocial theories and psychotherapy modalities within mental health.

NR606 - Diagnosis & Management in Psychiatric-Mental Health II Practicum: Focuses on perinatal, child, and adolescent populations.

NR607 - Diagnosis & Management in Psychiatric-Mental Health III Practicum: Expands knowledge to include complex mental health diagnoses and psychiatric emergencies.

NR668 - Psychiatric-Mental Health Capstone Practicum & Intensive: Synthesizes clinical management skills and prepares students for entry into clinical practice.

Communicate with students at least four times weekly throughout the 8-week course.
Qualifications

MSN and DNP (or MSN and PhD in nursing) degrees are required.

At least 1 year of practice experience directly in psychiatric mental health nursing is required.

Online teaching experience is preferred (preferably at the graduate level).

Must have active unencumbered RN nursing license; compact/multi-state licensure required.

Must have Illinois RN license or be willing to obtain prior to orientation start date.

PMHNP National Certification required.

Must have subject matter expertise in the course of instruction.

Excellent communication, motivational, and instructional skills in a diverse environment.

Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), WebEx/Teams (or similar platform), and Internet.
Benefits

Compensation rate for this position is between $715/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on education and experience.

Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law.
