Role Description
The Gallagher Global Brokerage Services Division (GGB-US) Operations Learning Lead is responsible for driving and supporting the learning and development needs of operational staff within the Client Service Organization (CSO). This role is part of the GGB Americas Operational Strategy Team. The Learning Lead will have direct impact on the service teamβs ability to execute and implement the needed changes to deliver on its vision: to continuously improve the client experience through operational effectiveness and efficiency, delivered by an engaged team where high performers thrive.

Concentrated on driving and supporting the learning and development needs of operational staff within an assigned branch, region or functional area.

Leverage full life cycle instructional design skills to build curriculum needed to deliver high-quality service training.

Deliver learning and development strategies and solutions, as well as drive adoption and implement learning reinforcement tactics.

Identifying and evaluating learning assets included in the role-based curriculums.

Developing new learning assets designed to meet business needs, which may include:

Materials for classroom-based learning

PowerPoint presentations
-
Discussion guides
-
Facilitator guides
-
Web-based training
-
Job aids and performance support tools

Assessments
-
Certification programs
-
Delivering training in a classroom and/or a webinar setting.

Collaborating with HR, business management, and various functional teams to vet and align on milestone training deliverables.

Interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending solutions/best practices.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, business, or related field.

3+ years directly applicable experience in insurance or financial brokerage.

Property and Casualty Insurance experience.

Proficient in developing and following individual work plan(s).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in using MS Office applications with key strengths in PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.

25% of travel is required within the assigned region and at times, travel to Gallagher headquarters.
Requirements

Professional certification (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance β CPLP) or equivalent training experience preferred.
