[Hiring] Professional Learning Specialist @IXL Learning

Role Description

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist passionate about integrating technology and research-based instructional best practices to help all students achieve.

In this role, you will support educators in implementing IXL effectively by:

• Facilitating virtual and in-person professional development
• Delivering national webinars
• Hosting IXL Live events

You will work with educators across grade levels, subjects, and districts to strengthen their IXL implementation and improve classroom instruction.

You must be a natural presenter and people person, highly organized, creative, well-spoken, and eager to be part of a collaborative, high-energy team.

This is a full-time remote position for candidates located in the Northeastern region of the United States.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree
• 5+ years teaching experience in a K-12 setting; department- or school-level leadership background a plus
• Educational professional development experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude
• Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented
• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience using Google Apps and Zoom
• Must live close to a major airport

Requirements

• Serve as a product expert, providing educators with implementation strategies tailored to their unique classroom needs
• Partner with school and district leaders to plan and deliver virtual and in-person professional development that supports a successful IXL implementation
• Travel to facilitate in-person professional development sessions to schools and districts – up to 60% possible travel during back-to-school season and up to 40% the remainder of the year
• Set up, host, and present at regional IXL Live events, working closely with our events team to ensure a seamless and engaging experience
• Collaborate with the sales team to support schools piloting IXL
• Partner with customer success and sales team members to effectively manage and grow customer relationships
