Role Description

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor in the Department of Economics, teaching Macroeconomic Theory III (ECO3152) during the 2026 Fall Semester.

• Course Description: Foundations of macroeconomic theory, business cycle theories, monetary and fiscal policies in a closed economy, neoclassical and other modern growth theories.

Qualifications

• PhD degree in economics with specialization in the area of the course.
• Acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as equivalent to the educational requirements and/or demonstrated experience.

• This course will be offered virtually.
• Employees are required to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as per provincial law.

Benefits

• The rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay.
• Retro pay will be applied after the ratification of a new collective agreement.
