Role Description

Pay for this position is $2,400.00 per 3-hour credit course per semester. Day/evening position available to instruct online beginning in the Fall 2026 semester.

• The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline.
• Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor.
• The faculty member works to ensure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master's Degree (in History or other discipline).
• 18 graduate hours in History.
• Credentials that meet minimum requirements for teaching at the post-secondary level set by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the Texas Education Agency, and accrediting agencies for individual programs.
