[Hiring] Part-Time Math Tutor @Saga Education

Role Description

This role involves providing high-dosage, high-impact tutoring to middle school or high school students during the school day for the 26/27 school year.

• Manage a small caseload of students and promote academic success
• Provide math tutoring utilizing Saga Connect and/or platforms utilized by the school district
• Prepare for tutoring sessions using Saga Curriculum and/or curriculum resources provided by the school/district
• Manage the input and analysis of student data to differentiate math instruction
• Collaborate with your manager or designated teacher to obtain necessary tutorial materials
• Navigate varying technology and troubleshoot technical issues
• Proactively check and respond to emails to meet necessary deliverables
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• You are a U.S. citizen residing within the U.S. 50 states during the background screening, onboarding processes, and while you work as a Tutor with Saga
• You are age 18 or over with a high school diploma or GED
• You must clear a Criminal History Check and all other security and health requirements set forth by Saga Education and the school district
• On-camera presence is required during tutoring sessions and other activities
• Access to a quiet workspace to effectively engage in tutoring is required
• Access to your own personal and reliable high-speed internet is required
• Demonstrated time management and self-starter abilities

Requirements

• Part-time; hours vary based on school district needs
• Remote location
• Compensation ranges from $18.00 – $21.65 per hour
