Role Description

ECPI University is seeking experienced business professionals to join our faculty team as an Online Faculty teaching Business Analytics. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy sharing their industry knowledge and helping students connect business analytic concepts to real-world situations.

• Deliver engaging, practical instruction through the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).
• Conduct weekly live lectures via Zoom.
• Create a supportive, student-centered learning environment.
• Use active-learning strategies and real-world examples to help students achieve course learning outcomes.
• Available evenings and weekends to support students.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or a closely related discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution.
• 3–5 years of industry experience in business analytics, data analytics, business intelligence, operations analytics, data-driven decision-making, or a related business field required.
• Two years of online teaching experience preferred.
• Strong online presentation and webinar facilitation skills preferred.
• Experience with Canvas LMS preferred.
• Strong business analytics acumen, including the ability to apply data analysis, statistical reasoning, business intelligence, data visualization, forecasting, optimization, and data-driven decision-making to real-world business problems.
• Current hands-on experience using analytics concepts and tools in an organizational business setting.
• Ability to connect business analytics concepts to practical workplace applications, including business intelligence, operations, marketing, finance, management, and strategic decision-making.
• Experience with analytics tools and/or applied technologies such as Excel, SQL, business intelligence platforms, data visualization tools, Python, R, artificial intelligence, machine learning, forecasting, optimization, or simulation.
