Role Description

The School of Counseling at Divine Mercy University (DMU) invites applications for an online adjunct faculty position in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program.

Qualifications

• A doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited institution.
• Be Licensed or License-eligible in the state of residence.
• Possess clinical, supervision, and teaching skills.
• Demonstrate a commitment to counseling professional identity and development.
• Exemplify a commitment to diverse worldviews and faiths while upholding the Catholic Christian vision of the person.

Requirements

• Current curriculum vitae.
• Cover letter of interest that addresses the applicant’s compatibility with teaching and supervising in accord with the DMU mission.
• A list of references from three higher education professionals.
• Official transcripts for all post-secondary education (unofficial transcripts should be submitted through the applicant portal and official transcripts can be requested and sent via email to [email protected]).

• Applicants whose primary language is other than English must provide proficiency in both written and spoken English appropriate for masters-level teaching in the United States of America.
• Applicants holding degrees earned at an institution outside the United States of America must demonstrate post-secondary education that is equivalent to a U.S. doctoral degree in counseling supervision. It is the applicant’s responsibility to have all official transcripts submitted from each university translated into English.
