[Hiring] Nursing - Adjunct (BSN Track) @Western New Mexico University

Role Description

Responsibilities are consistent with the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), New Mexico Board of Nursing (NMBON), and – where necessary – the New Mexico Nursing Education Consortium (NMNEC) guidelines, policies and procedures, and standards.

• Teaching load may be comprised of online and/or face-to-face course presentation, with clinical, laboratory skills, and simulation lab as appropriate based on the nursing course(s) taught.
• Contribute to instruction within the laboratory and/or simulation setting as necessary while also instructing students in the hospital or other clinical environment.
• Use established nursing curricula and the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).
• Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all state and federal safety regulations.
• Participate in departmental meetings and special projects when appropriate.
• Participate in office hours commensurate with the credit hour load.
• Supervise students in class, clinical, and/or laboratory settings.
• Utilize required policies and procedures in the appropriate student and faculty guidelines developed by the School of Nursing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
