Role Description
The position involves developing and monitoring ministry plans, collaborating with various teams, and overseeing logistics for ministry initiatives across Latin America and the Middle East.

Develop & Monitor Ministry Plans - 40%
-
Assist the Director in developing a ministry plan for the 2024-2029 Strategic Plan across Latin America.
-
Collaborate with Ministry Directors to develop operational plans for executing the Strategic Plan.
-
Oversee in-country contractors in Latin America.
-
Conduct trips to Latin America to audit ministry work and train in-country contractors.
-
Assist in developing ministry plans for Middle Eastern countries.
-
Monitor long-term and annual budgets for both regions.
-
Report on ministry plans and projects.
-
Create ministry reports to support Marketing, Communication, and Development initiatives.
-
Conduct quality control on impact stories from both regions.
-
Oversee logistics for Latin America, including procurement and distribution.
-
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to develop a social media strategy.
-
Support Communication and Development teams in creating impactful collateral.
-
Liason with the Manager of Ministry Coordinators as required.

Represent the organization on international ministry trips.

GO (Gospel Outreach) Trips - 25%
-
Collaborate with Ministry Directors to model GO trips.
-
Promote GO trip opportunities and recruit members.
-
Implement marketing plans for GO Trips.
-
Assist in developing strategy for GO Team Trip Leaders.
-
Support the training program for GO Team Trip Leaders.
-
Coordinate with partner organizations for GO Team trip initiatives.
-
Manage planning and execution of GO trips.
-
Provide leadership on GO trips.
-
Manage and monitor the GO Trip Schedule.
-
Partnerships & Networking - 20%
-
Identify and recommend qualified international partners.
-
Manage and maintain a portfolio of partner relationships.
-
Speak at churches and relevant Christian events.
-
Support Ministry Directors in developing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs).
-
Monitor and maintain MoUs and contracts.
-
Administration - 15%
-
Develop and refine ministry protocols for Latin America.
-
Acquire knowledge of SWG’s repository/database.
-
Ensure accurate reporting of ministry data and key performance indicators.
-
Produce budgets and ministry activity timelines/plans.
-
Prepare and submit expense reports.
-
Attend staff meetings and devotions.
-
Provide support to HR in hiring and performance reviews.

Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role.

Experience working with a variety of cultures preferred.

Knowledge of Christian ministry or non-profit sector essential.

Self-starter, organized, and able to multi-task.
-
Experience in writing reports and story writing ideal.
-
Committed Christian actively involved in a local church.

Willingness to speak publicly and to groups.
