[Hiring] Math Writer @The Good & the Beautiful

Role Description

The Good and the Beautiful is looking for a qualified, motivated individual to help create upper level math curriculum.

• Write math curriculum (lessons, solutions, scripts, and other materials) as assigned by Sr. Math Director.
• Work cooperatively with the Math Director and Math Team for each project.
• Review content for appropriateness, accuracy, clarity, and other factors as assigned.
• Lay out lessons and solutions in InDesign as needed.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, math education, or a related field.
• Experience teaching high school level math (specifically Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2), including creation of lessons and lesson plans.
• Preference given to individuals with Adobe InDesign experience.

Benefits

• This is a full-time position.
• Days and hours of work are between Monday through Saturday.
• Expected hours: 37-40 hours a week.
