Role Description
The LMS and Curriculum Operations Coordinator supports the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization's learning management system and digital curriculum environment. This position serves as a key connection between LMS operations, curriculum development, instructional staff, student support, and organizational systems.
The coordinator manages day-to-day LMS processes, responds to technical and instructional support requests, supports the course lifecycle from development through archival, and contributes to curriculum and departmental projects. This role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, careful attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage both recurring operational responsibilities and changing project priorities.

Create, configure, activate, copy, archive, and maintain courses and sections within the LMS.

Complete course reallocations and other course or section changes.

Manage LMS roles, permissions, observer access, and specialized user roles.

Carry out course activation and readiness processes, including configuration and quality checks.

Maintain accurate course settings, enrollment rules, access dates, grading settings, and related system configurations.

Troubleshoot course access, enrollment, permissions, content visibility, and submission issues.

Respond to and resolve LMS and curriculum-related help desk tickets from teachers, staff, students, and other stakeholders.

Diagnose technical, access, enrollment, course configuration, and user-permission concerns.

Support the development, revision, and maintenance of online courses.

Assist curriculum staff with course builds, content updates, assessment configuration, standards alignment, and quality checks.

Maintain LMS integrations and connected systems, including Turnitin, the student information system, and other instructional tools.

Complete approved API-related processes, account merges, data corrections, and system updates.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in education, instructional technology, information systems, educational technology, curriculum and instruction, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

At least three years of experience administering or supporting a learning management system, including course and section configuration, roles and permissions, and enrollment management.

Experience providing technical support, troubleshooting user issues, and responding to help desk requests.

Experience with course lifecycle processes such as course creation, activation, copying, and archiving.

Demonstrated ability to document technical and operational processes.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical processes to nontechnical users.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage competing priorities and respond to changing operational needs.

Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
Requirements

Experience administering Agilix Buzz.

Experience working in K-12, higher education, distance education, or another online-learning environment.

Experience with student information systems and LMS integrations.

Familiarity with APIs, data imports, account merges, or system-to-system data workflows.

Experience administering or supporting Turnitin or similar educational technology tools.

Experience with Zendesk or another ticket-management platform.
-
Familiarity with HTML and CSS sufficient to build and repair course page content.

Experience supporting digital curriculum development or online course design.
-
Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for digital learning.

Experience working with vendors and external technology support teams.
-
Experience creating training materials, process guides, or professional development resources.
