Role Description

The Learning & Development Coordinator supports the successful administration, coordination, and delivery of Learning & Development initiatives across Altasciences. Reporting to the Director, Learning & Development, this role is responsible for:

• Coordinating learning activities
• Maintaining training records and learning systems
• Supporting learning communications
• Developing and maintaining digital learning content
• Ensuring a positive participant experience

The Learning & Development Coordinator provides operational support for learning programs, helping to ensure learning materials are organized and accessible. This role also oversees the day-to-day administration and coordination of the employee recognition program and supports the maintenance of learning resources across SharePoint and other internal platforms.

Qualifications

• College Degree (DEC) or Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 0-2 years of related experience
• Relevant certifications in learning technologies, instructional design, project coordination, or training administration are considered assets
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Forms, and Power Automate
• Experience using Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline) is an asset
• Bilingual proficiency in French is required
• Relevant industry experience a plus

• Ability to manage digital content and maintain learning technologies
• Strong reporting and data management capabilities
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of vendors/providers or all level employees of the organization
• Ability to create basic L&D documentation as requested by the L&D Team
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and industry-specific manuals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Personal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information
• Ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results
• Capable of managing multiple conflicting priorities
• Must be self-directed, motivated, and have a willingness to take the initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation
