Role Description

Introduction to the Inter American system of human rights protection by subject areas including:

• women's rights
• the rights of indigenous peoples
• the rights to democracy
• social rights

Presentation of Organisation of American States (OAS) institutions involved with human rights; special emphasis is given to themes such as access to justice and empowerment of the poor. Explanation of the specific methodological research tools required to use this regional system.

Qualifications

• Asynchrone/virtual teaching experience
• Acceptable level of education and/or experience equivalent to the educational requirements

Requirements

• Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required under provincial law
• Notification of any adaptive measures required during the selection process
