Role Description
Supports the economic mobility of youth and adults in Central Indiana. Serves as a critical member of each participant's support system and focuses on one-on-one and small group interactions with participants to support their work, life, and learning goals.

Guides career choice, employment, training, and further education opportunities.

Engages with a variety of partners and stakeholders to foster connections among participants and healthcare career pathways.

Engages in outreach and recruitment of participants.

Assesses participant interest areas, strengths, work history, educational attainment, skills, abilities, and competencies.

Supports participants in finding an employment and career pathway match.

Completes an individualized overview of available career pathways and works with participants to create an employment plan for short- and long-term goals.

Conducts regular ongoing individual coaching sessions with participants to support goal achievement, job placement, education, job retention, and/or job readiness.

Monitors participant progress throughout the program cycle, beginning with recruitment or referral and continuing through retention and advancement efforts.

Maintains participant records detailing service needs and activities/arrangements for their fulfillment.

Maintains knowledge about programs offered through IU Health Mosaic.

Advocates for hard-to-employ participants.

Facilitates and leads group training, financial coaching, and development sessions.

Participates in Mosaic Center team building, learning journeys, professional development, and team planning activities.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.

3-5 years of relevant experience required.

5 or more years of relevant partnership and project or program management experience preferred.

3-5 years of experience in coaching, mentoring, career or workforce development, or related field is preferred.

Experience working in a variety of settings with a growth mindset.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated customer service skills.

Demonstrated financial literacy awareness and knowledge.

Ability to work independently and remotely as needed.

Familiarity with the communities being served.
