Role Description

Responsible for developing innovative, scalable, and engaging learning solutions that support enterprise business goals across CE&I and affiliated business units. This role partners with Learning & Leadership Development, Human Resources, Safety, Quality, Operations, IT, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design, develop, implement, and maintain modern learning experiences using advanced instructional design methodologies and emerging technologies. This position serves as a strategic learning consultant and is responsible for creating high-quality multimodal learning solutions including:

• eLearning
• Video-based learning
• Simulations
• Virtual instructor-led training (vILT)
• Instructor-led training (ILT)
• Microlearning
• Performance support tools
• AI-enhanced learning assets

This role requires strong business acumen, visual storytelling ability, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects in a fast-paced remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, Communications, Organizational Development, Adult Learning, Multimedia Design, or related field preferred
• Three to five years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating technical and non-technical learning solutions
• Experience developing enterprise-level eLearning and blended learning programs
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and publishing SCORM/xAPI compliant content
• Experience collaborating with SMEs, operations leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders in fast-paced environments
• Experience creating multimedia learning assets including video, interactive media, simulations, or AI-enhanced learning preferred
• Experience supporting remote and distributed workforce learning initiatives preferred

Requirements

• Strong understanding of instructional systems design (ISD) methodologies including ADDIE, SAM, adult learning theory, and learner engagement strategies
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Advanced skills in Articulate Storyline and Rise 360
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Audition preferred
• Experience with modern video editing and multimedia development platforms preferred
• Experience using AI-enabled content creation tools such as Synthesia, Vyond AI, ChatGPT, DeepL, or similar technologies preferred
• Understanding of SCORM, xAPI, accessibility standards, and LMS publishing requirements
• Strong visual design, layout, branding, and storytelling skills
• Ability to develop interactive simulations, branching scenarios, and learner-centered experiences preferred
• Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels
• Ability to analyze business needs and align learning solutions with operational outcomes and KPIs
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision while maintaining high accountability and confidentiality
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, timelines, and organizational needs
• Graphic design, photography, videography, or multimedia production skills preferred
• Ability to travel as needed for field visits, training events, filming, discovery meetings, or operational support preferred
