[Hiring] Independent End Point Assessor @NCFE

Role Description

We’re seeking Independent End Point Assessors (IEPAs) to join our End Point Assessment team to deliver the Level 2 Community Activator Coach standard. This opportunity is ideal if you have experience in sports coaching or community sport and are passionate about developing the next generation of coaches. You'll have current or recent industry experience, maintain strong connections within the sports coaching sector, and be committed to keeping your knowledge up to date through ongoing professional development and practical application.

As an IEPA, you’ll play an integral part in the success of apprentices by supporting them in taking the assessments for their apprenticeship and grading their assessments. This is therefore a great opportunity to use your professional skills and knowledge whilst developing others.

• Delivering EPA in line with the Level 2 Community Activator Coach Standard
• Utilising NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices
• Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency
• Communicating with apprentices, ITP’s and employers on EPA and grading

Qualifications

• A recognised Assessor qualification (or working towards)
• At least 5 years occupational experience in sports coaching or community sport
• Experience of producing clear and accurate reports
• A valid clean driving licence and the flexibility to travel across your area for F2F assessment delivery
• Current contacts within the sports coaching industry, to show that you are maintaining hands on practical CPD as a sports coach
• Excellent IT skills and be competent with using systems such as Teams, Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
• Current practice in the field, or have been out of the field for no more than 24 months
