Role Description

Due to expanding enrollment, we are seeking a dynamic high school Math teacher with a skill for teaching Algebra 1 & 2 supporting students through personalized learning and strong academic mentorship.

Teachers in the Connection Academy are responsible for:

• Student engagement in a distance learning environment
• Providing daily synchronous instruction
• Conducting small group intervention and ELD instruction
• Conducting PLP meetings as assigned
• Managing the complete educational experience for each student
• Reviewing student learning
• Creating online portfolios
• Proctoring assessments
• Creating report cards and assigning grades

Qualifications

• Applicant must possess a valid California Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential - Math
• Prior online teaching experience preferred
• Teaching experience with grades 9-12 highly desirable
• Experience with Charter Schools a plus
• All candidates must reside within our service areas, including Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino, or Los Angeles Counties
