Role Description

Overview of the Canadian health care system including its history and evolution with an emphasis on the relationship between federal government and the provincial/territorial systems. Current forces (e.g. societal, political, economic) that influence health care policy. Canadian system compared to international health care systems.

Qualifications

• MBA or Master's degree (PhD preferred) in an area directly related to health care systems both in Canada and globally.
• Recent professional experience in the field.
• Sound knowledge of the issues related to the area of the course.
• Experience in development or delivery of online course content would be considered an asset.

Requirements

• Teaching method will be delivered online.
• Teaching method might incur changes due to health measures or other reasons.

Benefits

• Hourly Rate: Enseignement / Teaching: $239.47 (2024-2025).
• Work Hours: 39.
• Number of credits: 3.
• Expected Enrolment: 25.
