[Hiring] Head of Faculty: Education @Sacap

Role Description

SACAP is looking to permanently employ a Head of Faculty for Education. This role is responsible for leading the establishment and strategic development of SACAP’s new Faculty of Education.

• Provide academic and strategic leadership.
• Ensure the effective functioning of the faculty.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and quality assurance of academic programmes.
• Drive innovation and excellence in scholarship and research.
• Foster strong industry and community engagement.
• Oversee faculty operations.

Qualifications

• A relevant doctoral degree or equivalent academic qualification.
• Extensive experience in academic leadership and management.
• Strong background in higher education governance, policy, and accreditation.
• Experience in curriculum development, quality assurance, and programme accreditation.
• Proven track record in research, innovation, and industry collaboration.
• Understanding of national education policies and regulatory frameworks (e.g., CHE).
• Financial and human resource management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Benefits

• Full-time position operating from Mondays to Fridays.
• Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00.
• Friday: 08:30 – 16:00.
