[Hiring] Freelance Online Mandarin Teacher @Busuu

Role Description

As a Freelance Online Mandarin Teacher at Busuu, you’ll play a key role in helping students learn Mandarin effectively and confidently. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will likely include:

• Planning, preparing, and teaching online lessons (45 minutes each) for corporate clients.
• Delivering private lessons that include both language teaching and personalised coaching:
• Conducting needs analyses.
• Assessing levels.
• Creating bespoke learning paths.
• Checking progress during lesson time.
• Setting clear goals.

Qualifications

• C2 Level of Mandarin.
• Valid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or related university degrees.
• Experience in online teaching and providing 1:1 coaching or personalised learning support.
• B1 or above in English.

Requirements

• Speaking more than two languages (bonus).
• Comfortable teaching: presentation skills, negotiations, business email etiquette, meeting management, multicultural communication, etc.
• Excellent communication skills to engage and teach students.
• High-Speed Internet, Modern Laptop / PC with a microphone and camera.
• Must comply with local freelance/contractor regulations.
