[Hiring] Finnish Language Instructor @ICA Language Services

Role Description

ICA is currently seeking an online Finnish Language Instructor. The candidates should have at least two years of experience teaching the target language in a proficiency-oriented environment to adult students on an intensive basis.

• Duration: 12 weeks total
• 11 weeks part-time (2 evenings/week, 2 hours/session)
• Final week full-time (5 days, 6 hours/day)
• Schedule: After 5pm EST
• Tuesdays & Thursdays initially; daily during final week
• Start: As soon as possible
• Level: ILR 3
• Goals: Improve complex speaking and reading comprehension
• Number Of Students: 1
• Flexible with scheduling
• The training program will include homework activities and should focus on developing the language skills such as:
  • Speaking
  • Listening
  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Vocabulary
  • Grammar
  • Pronunciation
  • Culture

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time experience teaching adult students
• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• Native Speaker of the Finnish language
• Teaching Experience with Zoom online platform preferred
