Role Description

The Executive Director of Speech Language Pathology provides senior-level leadership, strategic direction, and discipline-specific expertise within a highly matrixed organization to advance EIM’s academic products and services and strengthen its university and healthcare partnerships. This role serves as a key advisor and thought leader, guiding the development, growth, and delivery of innovative healthcare education solutions that align with workforce demands, market opportunities, accreditation requirements, and emerging industry trends.

• Bridges academic excellence with business strategy to ensure relevance and competitiveness of EIM’s programs.
• Drives strategic initiatives that enhance product quality, learner outcomes, and organizational impact.
• Informs academic innovation, partnership development, accreditation readiness, curriculum strategy, and market positioning.
• Fosters scalable, high-quality educational models through thought leadership and relationship building.

Qualifications

• Terminal or doctoral degree appropriate to the discipline (e.g., PhD, EdD, clinical doctorate, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 10 years of combined academic, clinical, and leadership experience within the discipline.
• Proven ability to lead complex academic initiatives and advise senior academic stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience working with programmatic accreditation standards relevant to the discipline.
• Successful track record in launching new academic products, services, or programs.
• Experience leveraging enterprise CRM and other platforms for managing partner data and generating performance reports.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills.

Requirements

• Familiarity with hybrid or accelerated education models and learning analytics.
• Experience working within or alongside an Online Program Management (OPM) organization.
