[Hiring] Elementary Screening and Tutor Coordinator @Stride, Inc.

Role Description

The Elementary Screening and Tutoring Coordinator assists Elementary Principals in managing available intervention and tutoring resources. This position supports:

• Individual student reading screening
• Coordination of grade band math and reading screening and referral programs
• Coordination of tutoring services

Our aim is to enable students to achieve their educational goals by receiving high-quality, personalized online intervention from expert, certified teachers.

This is a full-time position requiring the ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week, and maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 3 or more years of experience in a Virtual School
• LETRS Training or Equivalent Science of Reading Training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Requirements

• Ability to work with and through people to establish goals, objectives, and action plans
• Strong knowledge of instructional and educational leadership strategies, online instructional design theories, and learning style theories
• Highly organized with the ability to coordinate complex programs and processes
• Works effectively as a team member and leader
• Employs innovative problem-solving techniques to accomplish objectives
• Ability to travel 10% of the time
• Ability to clear required background check
• Valid state license required

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• Reading Endorsement or Masters in Field
• Demonstrated experience in supervision, training, and development of teachers
• Possesses knowledge of technical systems used within the organization
