Provide an effective program of instruction based on the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved.

Qualifications

Kansas Teaching Certificate/License

"Highly qualified" status according to KSDE and federal regulations

SPED and/or ESL endorsement preferred

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Requirements

Possess and maintain licensure (certification) in the state of Kansas

Ability to speak clearly and audibly to various groups expressing ideas in a logical and forthright manner
-
Possess composition skills suitable for producing written communication for a variety of readers

Ability to quickly analyze a situation and provide prompt advice
-
Ability to respond to information requests in a courteous, timely and helpful manner

Ability to perform job responsibilities using appropriate software on a district computer system and communication equipment

Ability to manage job responsibilities while meeting established deadlines

Ability to work constructively and cooperatively with others

Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor
