Role Description
The Education Research Consulting Manager, Academic Medical Center Specialist will serve in an outward-facing, hands-on, and multi-faceted role combining project/engagement management, team leadership, material interaction with clients at both a tactical and strategic level. They will play an integral role in the continued build-out and growth of the Education Research team with a particular focus on Academic Medical Center clients.

Help clients achieve organizational effectiveness and improve student outcomes.

Implement new technologies and align resources and investments for long-term sustainability.

Build long-standing partnerships with clients and collaborate with colleagues to solve important challenges.

Plan, shape, and deliver technology solutions that align with client goals, visions, and missions.

Mentor junior staff on the engagement team, promoting a culture of respect, unity, collaboration, and personal achievement.

Contribute to client deliverables and communication supporting transformational initiatives, strategic planning, and leadership transitions.

Act as a direct liaison between the client and the Huron team.

Create and maintain relationships with Education Research leaders while building and leading a team within Huron.
Qualifications

US Work Authorization.
-
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Extensive experience with Academic Medical Centers.

Experience with human resources within an Academic Medical Center.

Experience with administrative support services, faculty compensation, and fund flow.

Excellent communication skills - oral and written.

Strong interpersonal skills to establish relationships of trust and collaboration.

Ability to participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions.

Ability to manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration.

Strong analytical skills to translate information from meetings into documentation.

Willingness and ability to travel on a 50% basis annually.
Requirements

We are considering both a Manager and a Director level at this time.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $140,000 - $185,000 at the Manager level and $175,000 - $225,000 at the Director level.

The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including specific skills, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.

This job is eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program.

Inclusive of annual incentive compensation, the total estimated compensation range is $161,000 - $231,250 at the Manager level and $218,750 - $303,750 at the Director level.

This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
